Mechanical

The new Wrangler has four incredibly capable engine options: the 2.0L Turbo with ESS, 3.0L EcoDiesel, 3.6L Pentastar® V6 with eTorque, and 3.6L Pentastar® V6 with ESS. Each engine comes paired with a 6-speed Manual Transmission; however, it can be upgraded to an available 8-speed Automatic Transmission. Exterior

One necessity of any evening off-roading adventures is to ensure you have a significant amount of light output. With the available Premium LED Lighting Package you will get signature Reflector Headlamps, Vibrant Taillamps, Fog Lamps, and Daytime Running Lamps for impressive visibility and style. Available heated sideview mirrors will also keep you seeing things clearly, regardless of the weather.

We also can’t forget Jeep’s signature removable top and doors; the new 2021 Jeep Wrangler has created more ways to experience the freedom of the open-air than ever before. Whether you go with the easy-to-lower standard Sunrider® soft top, the available Freedom Top® three-piece removable hardtop, or the available Sky One-Touch® Power Top (which can be combined with a fold-down windshield and removable doors), your outdoor adventure will never go without a little fresh air when you want it.

Interior

The Jeep Wrangler’s available 9-speaker Alpine® Premium Audio System which comes with an overhead sound bar, all-weather subwoofer, and a 552-watt amplifier, will ensure any joy ride is paired with just the right tunes to keep the party going. The weather-resistant removable carpet and one-way floor drain valves ensure that cleaning up after playing all day in the mud is no problem. Where might you put all the gear you need for your excursion, you ask? Well, the Wrangler has that covered also with adaptable cargo features such as the rear Trail Rail™ System, Jeep® Utility Grid, or the removable cargo floor, locking glove box, and center console. No matter what it is you need to bring, the adaptable cargo features have a place for it!

Along with entertainment and functional interior features, the heated front seats, heated steering wheel, and Dual-Zone Automatic Temperature Control, make riding on the dirt road even more enjoyable.

The Uconnect® 4C Infotainment System with navigation has a user-friendly, easily customizable interface which makes controlling the interior temperature or navigating through tech such as Apple CarPlay®, Android Auto™, and 4G LTE Wi-Fi Hotspot feel instinctive.

Uconnect Services are also available to remotely access and control your vehicle directly from the app on your phone. Additionally, with the Jeep® Skill for Amazon Alexa, you can tell Alexa to send a specific set of driving directions right to your Wrangler. You can even start your engine using the Alexa Skill, or simply check your fuel levels to prepare for a drive in the future.

A 7” Driver Information Digital Cluster Display is also an option for the Wrangler. This customizable cluster ensures your ability to track not only the speed or direction the vehicle is traveling, but also allows you to manage the vehicle’s pitch and roll degrees along with many other safety features located conveniently in front of the driver.

Safety, Security, and Technology

To maximize the safety of each adventure you take, the Wrangler has been designed with a high-strength steel frame and advanced airbag system to elevate passenger safety.

The Wrangler offers many various safety features which include; Blind Spot Monitoring, Rear Cross Path Detection, Forward Collision Warning, Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop and Go, Automatic High-Beam Headlamps, and ParkSense® Rear Park Assist System. The Forward-Facing Off-Road Camera is also an impressive feature that allows the driver’s front driving view to be exponentially better than ever before. The Wrangler also comes standard with a ParkView® Rear Backup Camera to help navigate any circumstances that require traveling in reverse.

Towing and Payload

All engine configurations can tow up to 3,500 lbs. making for a good overnight adventure vehicle. You may see slight differences in the towing features depending on which engine is selected, however, they will definitely all get you there and back successfully!

Off-Road Capability

As you would expect, the Wrangler has been built to go off the road. The standard part-time Command-Trac® 4x4 system evenly distributes power to all four wheels, only when it’s needed. The Selec-Speed® Control System comes also with the automatic transmission configurations and provides an off-road cruise control, per say. It allows the vehicle to manage vehicle speed when in 4 Low to maintain a consistent speed through all obstacles. The Steel Skid Plates, Rock Rails, High Air Intake, and new selectable Tire Fill Alert System make any adventure within reach.

For even more off-road capability, features such as the Off-Road+ Button, part-time Rock-Trac® 4x4 system, Tru-Lok® Electronic Locking Front and Rear Differentials, Electronic Front Sway Bar Disconnect and 33” All-Terrain Tires come standard on the Rubicon. You can take things even one step further by adding the available Full-Time Rock-Trac® 4X4 System which provides a 4:1 low-gear ratio creating an increased amount of torque letting you crawl over anything in your path.

New Jeep Wrangler 4XE: Anticipated December 2020

The all-new Jeep® Wrangler 4XE will be the first Jeep® Brand Hybrid vehicle in North America. The driving range has been estimated to be around 400 miles, and it’s said to have an impressive 375 horsepower and 470 lb. ft. torque. This plug-in electric Jeep® is set to bring a whole new generation of off-roading fun to the table in a big way.

Wrangler Rubicon 392: Anticipated January 2021

This advanced off-roading beast will be powered by the legendary 6.4L HEMI® V8 Engine. It is said to easily take the top spot for the quickest and most powerful Wrangler yet; producing up to 470 horsepower and 470 lb. ft. torque. It is expected to achieve 0-60 mpg in 4.5 seconds and with its Heavy-Duty Braking System and FOX branded aluminum-bodied 2-inch diameter shocks, the Rubicon 392 will take on even the toughest off-road racing competitors.
